I’m Alisha and I created Alisha Louise Aesthetics with the aim of using my extensive medical training and experience to make people feel good about themselves by enhancing their natural beauty and restoring their confidence.
Before moving into aesthetics, I trained professionally as a nurse, working for more than a decade caring for patients, enhancing my medical skills and developing a passion for patient physical and mental well-being.
True beauty comes from confidence and there is no greater reward than making people recognise their beauty and enhancing it to make them shine. We know that the aesthetics industry is all about how you look, but I go a step further with my clients, encouraging them to feel good about themselves and being honest if I don’t believe they’re ready or if they don’t need treatment.
I love learning and I believe everyone in the aesthetics industry should be suitably qualified to provide the best possible service to clients, particularly in the event of a medical emergency. I have a thirst for knowledge and continually develop my skills and experience to provide innovative services and become the safest practitioner possible.
I founded Alisha Louise Aesthetics in 2016 and I’m so proud of our journey. I became a nurse prescriber back in 2017 and achieved my Masters in Professional Clinical Practice in 2019. I’m a medical grade skin care adviser partnering with AlumierMD products and I’m passionate about sharing my skills with others, providing mentoring and teaching aesthetics since 2018.
Education is a big part of Alisha Louise Aesthetics, so as well as continuously developing my own professional skills, I encourage knowledge transfer amongst other practitioners and teach students on the Masters Level 7 PGCert in non-surgical facial aesthetics. In 2021, I launched Alisha Louise Academy, providing 1-1 and group training in the innovative aesthetic techniques I practice on my own patients.
Now for the personal bit! I’m married to Andy and we’ve been together for 12 years. We have two little boys of the furry variety, Ren and Stimpy (yes, from the cartoon), our gorgeous cavapoos and we love nothing better than getting outdoors with them as much as we can! When I’m not at the clinic, I run, walk, hike and climb as well as enjoying good food and a gin and tonic!
